Fiona and John’s Wedding
Iain and Candy’s daughter Fiona married John Cairns in June 2006 in the village church in Dores, on the shore of Loch Ness, close to where she had been brought up. The congregation made their way from the church to the Dores Inn to take these and other wedding photos against the beautiful backdrop of Loch Ness. It was far from the warmest of June days, so these photos show that they breed ’em tough in that part of thr world. The reception was held in a marquee at Iain and Candy’s Drummond Farm, high above Loch Ness, with yet another stunning backdrop. When I last updated this page (2022) Fiona and John had two childen, Orla and Dara, both still at school – and a wonderful B&B (click Balachladaich B&B for details).
